I mentioned, earlier in the month when I posted the picture of my grandmother and her friends, that I had a picture of her on her basketball team. And here it is, all the way from 1910! Mom is the round-faced young woman all the way on the left. The X is over someone who she said, on the back of the photo, was her "great chum." No name given however. Mom also said that she was the shortest girl on the team but not the youngest. Imagine playing basketball in those costumes!
