Happy Birthday, Mom
My mom would have been 86 today...I still miss you, Mom.

But she still wouldn't have wanted her face on the Internet. Yikes. I still remember the disapproving comments I got when I wrote my name on scrap paper using a "trial" pen in a department store . . .
Well, she hasn't gotten back to me with any complaint yet!
But yeah, I remember doodling with chalk on the front wall of Pop's house in Oakland and she came out and said, "Fools' names and fools' faces are often seen in public places." Really, Mom? Pop's driveway? Ah, good times.
